I thought I would start off my new blog with a post about Geography Awareness Week (Since it is after all, Geography Awareness Week and GIS Day tomorrow).
Yesterday I was awarded second place in the St. Louis ASPRS Region Poster Contest, for my poster on Applications of Geospatial Technology in Emergency Management.
In the #GeoTweet chat tonight, several people brought up Citizen Science. I thought I would share our presentation (developed by the STEM 1 Roundtable at the 2013 National 4-H Conference) that we presented in April to the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy (OSTP).
